
Asasepa Foundation is a Non- Governmental, and Non Profit Making Organization, which was founded and began operations. It is duly registered with the relevant institutions in Ghana, and seeks to collaborate with other institutions to help achieve its organizational mission and developmental objectives. Our organizational mission, vision, goal and objectives are:
Mission
To protect Ghana's costal biodiversity via community involvement, education, advocacy and promotion of sustainable practices, to lessen the consequences of climatic change and improve livelihoods.
Vision
Develop a strong community based organization, to champion the development and protection of biodiversity of the coast and improving livelihood of the people.
Goal
To establish a model for coastal biodiversity management that stimulates positive change on local communities by means of cooperative efforts, education, and innovation."
Objectives
1.Community Empowerment and Sustainable Development: Strengthen coastal communities by implementing capacity-building projects, such as training programs for skills, and entrepreneurship. • Encourage sustainable development strategies in local communities, emphasizing the development management ecotourism, to introduce alternative of sources of income.
2.Partnership and Collaboration: Establish partnership with local communities, civil society organisations academia and government agencies to leverage expertise and resource. • Foster collaboration with like-minded international organizations and donors to support the implementation of sustainable development projects and initiatives.
3.Policy Advocacy Governance: Promote the creation and execution of laws and rules that support coastal resilience, sustainable fisheries management, and environmental conservation. • Work with stakeholders, government agencies, and officials to impact local, national, and worldwide decision-making processes.
